  • Presenting Shikshashtakam, which is the only known work of Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu of West Bengal. In that single work he has condensed the complete philosophy of Bhakthi and Sharanagati. He says, thinking of oneself as being lower than a blade of grass and more tolerant than a tree and being very humble, one must always be engaged in hari nama sankirtana, highlighting the concept of unconditional Bhakti.
Dr N Veezhinathan, a renowned Samskritam scholar and teacher, guru of Smt Saradha Sethuraman, had explained the meaning of these verses to MS before recording the Shikshastakam. Her subsequent rendition reflected how moved she was by Chaitanya Mahaprabhu’s words.
The choreography is dedicated to Dr N Veezhinathan.
This piece was choreographed by Guru Smt Saradha Sethuraman and performed by Srilekha Rajesh.
